What’s in the Test?
Based on past papers, the test covers fundamental skills to see if you’re ready to learn in English. Expect questions on:
- Grammar & Vocabulary: You’ll need to use verbs like is/are/has/have correctly, arrange jumbled words into proper sentences, and match professions like ‘Farmer’ or ‘Doctor’ to their duties.
- Reading & Writing: This includes reading a short passage and answering questions about it, and writing a few sentences on a topic like “My Hobby”.
- General Knowledge & Maths: You will find questions about Sri Lanka (e.g., its capital or longest river), labeling diagrams, and solving basic math problems.
